What's In | My Make Up Bag
It is once again time to be quite a little bit nosey and find ourselves within a skinChemists make up bag, and today that privilege is all mine! I am the typical carry-around-the-kitchen-sink kind of girl - skincare, make up, everything resides in my bag, which incidentally says "Contents: my face" - it speaks the truth!
So what exactly is in my make up bag? I think the right question would be: what isn't in it?!
First of all I keep a few prep products on me - of course, the wonderful, silicone-based skinChemists Studio Finish Primer, as loved by make up artists and celebrities - it really works to smooth the skin's surface and hold the products on the skin for longer. I also carry around the skinChemists Wrinkle Killer Cleansing Solution pads, which are perfect for any little make up mistakes or for taking off my make up in the office to prep for reapplication for a meeting or after-work event. Concealer comes in the form of Collection's Lasting Perfection Concealer, and skinChemists Under Eye Definer.
Next up is base and face, something that I change on a daily basis, so this is today's collection of products! Starting with Vichy's Dermablend Foundation, followed by the beautifully finely-milled L'oreal Nude Magique BB Powder, sculpted with Kevyn Aucoin's The Sculpting Powder, with warmth, highlight and dimension coming from Sleek's Face Form! A hint of a flush comes courtesy of Bourjois' Blush Exclusif and all is topped off with a light pressing of skinChemists Nano Perfect.
Eye make up is a big must-have for myself - definition is key, and is achieved by the use of Mac's Paint Pot in Constructivist, Kiko's Colour Sphere Eye Shadow in 05, and Maybelline's Master Kajal Khol Liner, Browdrama and Colossal Mascara.
And that is my emergency, just-in-case, what-if-need it make up bag!
