Does Snake Serum contain real snake venom?

No. It contains SYN-AKE®, a synthetic peptide inspired by a compound found in temple viper venom. No venom is collected from snakes or included in the formula.

Is this a serum or a moisturiser?

It is a lightweight facial treatment used at the serum stage of your routine. Apply it after cleansing and before moisturiser, SPF or facial oil.

Where should I apply it?

Apply it across the face and neck, paying particular attention to areas where expression lines are more visible, such as the forehead and around the mouth. Avoid direct contact with the eyes.

Can I use it in the morning and evening?

Yes. It can be used twice daily, provided your skin tolerates it comfortably. Always follow with SPF during the day.

Can I use it with Retinol or exfoliating acids?

The formula contains Gluconolactone, a gentle PHA. If you also use Retinol, AHAs, BHAs or another exfoliating treatment, introduce the combination gradually or use the products at different times to reduce the possibility of irritation.

Is it suitable for sensitive skin?

The lightweight formula may suit many skin types, but it contains both a PHA and added fragrance. Sensitive skin should patch test first and begin with once-daily or alternate-day use.

Can it be worn beneath makeup?

Yes. Its lightweight texture absorbs quickly and layers comfortably beneath moisturiser, SPF and makeup. Allow each layer to absorb before applying the next.

What does Snake Serum smell like?

The formula contains parfum and therefore has a light cosmetic fragrance. As scent perception varies, the aroma may be more noticeable to some people than others.

How long will one tube last?

This depends on the amount and frequency of use. When applying a small amount once or twice daily, a 30ml tube should typically form part of your routine for several weeks.
